Dear Veteran:
The next Blinded Veterans Support Group meeting will be held on Friday, February 22nd 9:00 A.M. at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Building 83. This is a very important and informative meeting. Your attendance
is very important. Please be there and please be on time.
We will have a guest speaker to talk with us about diabetes and nutrition. The speaker is Ms. Janice Powers, RD (Registered Dietitian) from our own Hampton VAMC. So, come prepared to listen, ask questions, and learn.
A calendar of this year’s meetings is included with this newsletter. Please read and keep it in a handy place for your convenience.
Southside residents who require transportation may contact Delores Bethel at 757-717-1121 or Robert Byrd at 757-340-7672 for a ride in the van. Leave a message with your name, phone number, and address.
For those of you who do ride in the van, there will be a $5.00 charge per person to help defray the cost of paying for the van.
