Dear Veteran:
We will not have a Blinded Veterans Support Group meeting this month (May, 2009). Our next monthly meeting will be held Friday, June 26th at 10:00 A.M. at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Building 83.
This is a very important and fun meeting. Your attendance is very important. Please be there and please be on time.
The reason we are not having a meeting this month is because our monthly meeting
comes just one week after the Mid-Atlantic Regional Group’s meeting which is
Friday, May 15th at 7:00 P.M. for the social event and Saturday, May
16th at 8:30 A.M. for the meeting. Registration will start May 16th
at 8:00 A.M. Registration cost is $10.00 to help defray the cost of lunch. This
meeting is very important. Please be there and please be on time for the
meeting. The meeting’s theme is blind rehab, a subject about which we should all
want to know more.The June Blinded Veterans Support Group Meeting is when our
spring picnic will be. So please contact Mary Durbin at Home # 757-431-1205 Cell
# 757-472-2495 and let her know what dish you will bring to the June picnic.
