Richmond Chapter Meeting Minutes
Richmond BVA Chapter meeting minutes:
On Dec 19, we had our BVA and Vist Christmas party and a catered meal there were 38 inpatient, 20 BVA members and 42 guest and friends and one special guest Santa Claus, Vice President Leon Robinson presented plaques of appreciation to the director of the Richmond Virginia medical center Michael B Phaup and coordinator of voluntary services Janet S Langhorne. We also adopted a new BVA member and family for Christmas. We brought can goods and gifts for the family, Herb Patterson a BVA member that takes old computers and restores them fixed one with games and educational software for the 2 kids. The BVA members brought in a unisex gift so Santa could pull numbers for the BVA members to get a gift brought in by members. Such a special time of year and I think everyone had a wonderful time.
