Description of Product: The VES® K manual focus bioptic telescope offers Ocutech’s quality Keplerian optics, that provide a sharp edge-to-edge image and the widest field-of-view available, in a small, light, and comfortable physical design. Patients can wear the VES® K all day long. The VES® K innovative bridge mounting design provides full control of critical telescope positioning, making it easy to demonstrate, fit and dispense. Even challenging eccentric viewing and Nystagmus patients can be fit with ease. And, the VES® K is easy to re-adjust or to change carrier lenses at any time. The VES® K is a quality bioptic telescope in a truly a risk-free design.
Applications: Primarily used for mid-range to distant activities that require hands free viewing. For instance hands free job related activities, computer work, watching television, travel, classroom, signs, faces, theater, sporting events, shopping, reading, table top activities including games and card playing, Driving (depending on the individual’s visual acuity, a low vision specialist’s assessment and laws within a state).
Diagnoses: Diagnoses responsive to the VES-Sport include Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Albinism, Myopic Degeneration, Nystagmus, Stargardt’s Disease, Coloboma Optic Atrophy, Macular holes, Achromatopsia, Retinopathy of prematurity and many others.
