VISIONAWARE.ORG CRAFT PUBLICATION JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER!
Craft Adaptations for Adults with Vision Impairments (Revised 2007) is the latest publication in VisionAWARE’s New Independence! series. It contains 17 favorite crafts, along with detailed instructions and adaption's for crafters who are blind or have low vision.
The contents have been field-tested for many years by Vision Rehabilitation Therapist and author Stephanie Stephens Van, a highly qualified and experienced vision rehabilitation professional. This updated and expanded large print (18 point Font) version includes five additional crafts, along with a new introduction, hints section, and resource list.
All of the craft projects can be used in camp and recreation programs for people of all ages, university programs, assisted living and long-term care facilities, and senior centers.

• Adaptive "Tricks of the Trade": Hints for measuring, using scissors, threading needles, and labeling
• Seventeen Craft Projects (beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels): Each craft includes a materials list, recommended adaptations, detailed step-by-step instructions, and clear black-and-white illustrations.
